Just so i understand the target size is chosen by the contestant?" kill zone size of your intended species" i know there is some disagreement on the kill zone is size is but I'm focused on elk so im thinking like 22-16" wide 16-12" tall, then for deer something like 16-12" wide by 12-8" tall. Does that seam reasonable?

a standard piece of paper 8.5*11 might be a easy target for all to find and use
yes, participants choice on vital size, but obviously within reason. See you on the 11th!

Now this part I don't believe! I've been doing this stupid challenge every year and never had my name picked. #fakenewsdenning

I would say that this is your year, brother, but if I do say that and you do draw, people are gonna say I’m playing favorites. #Can’tWin #ShootYourBowAnyway. #Lol.

Need to get some new strings on my bow! Been working with a hinge this spring and it’s a lot of fun. Thanks for doing this every year mod team.

Fortunately no pictures exist of that first endeavor (hopefully some practice will help) but it wad similar to the posted picture.

Now is the time to start getting everything dialed for the challenge.

update on my participation

Wife got the cruds BAD a few weeks ago.

24/7 cough for a week. I had to sleep on the couch & futon (I promise that was why!!! lol)

Old man injury, but laying on my left shoulder too much on a skinny hard surface SCREWED ME UP!!!!

Got bursitus (diagnosed by Dr) so bad in my left shoulder can hardly move or sleep.

NSAID shot got me sleeping and now taking steroidal anti-inflams.

Not sure I'm gonna make the Saturday 5/11 opening, but hoping to be healed up enough to shoot at some point.

I had been shooting for a few weeks before this happened and was going to shoot 60 yds, but with this setback....not sure.

@Howard Mee will be taking the lead post (pressure's on buddy)

either way, we'll see you all this Saturday 5/11 815AM on the thread!

Steroides going to be out of your system by the time you shoot or are we going to be at a disadvantage????

Bursitis is no joke. Get well soon so you can get some reps in.
hey! never thought of that! but sadly I don't think it's those kinda steroids.

Thanks!
