I confirmed all my account details and logged in at 0900,eastern time. Stayed on the proceed page since then. Came in at 1045 eastern time to check, still logged on waiting on same page, no green man. Got a green man at 1055. Now hes about 1/4 way across.
Sounds like we would have gotten the little man regardless then. Oh well.

What do you guys think the odds are of getting one of 2 leftover tags with a green man only 2/3 down the treadmill? Better or worse than getting a sheep tag?

That's how WY does it (at least the combined pool, not sure on the fees) and I have never once heard any of them complain about it.

PLEASE don’t confuse my opinion with complaints...makes this conversation take a negative twist. I’m the least entitled person you’ll ever meet.....but I pay my $8k property tax bill in CO every year, $700 truck registration every year, over priced everything to live in a state my family settled in in the late 1800’s.....to get 1 tag if I’m lucky a year worth the time and resource it takes to make a hunting trip a reality.....so my opinion is a resident in their home state should always have preference.

The tags I wanted are gone. That is a pretty frustrating process all in all. I've been logged on for hours but didn't get in until 9 minutes after it opened. I would think they would give more of a heads up on how it would work prior.

Oh well, I'm still holding a bull tag.

Well, that was fun. Got in at 9:08 and all "my" tags are gone. Brilliant move by the DPW this year, no one can say the website crashed, because they didn't let anyone in! LOL

You must have some chunk, my property taxes are only $2300 for a property values around $800k.

I got in the queue about 8:36, got into the system about 9:06, blasted through the first few screens, tried for six different tags, all gone. The first tag had 4 available and isn’t that desirable - gone.

Finally got through and snagged my first choice (there was several hundred leftover). None of the bear tags I had jotted down were left though, they only had 2-3 available at the start.

Tag I was after was gone in under 90 seconds. I flew threw the process and when submitting payment- said validation error, no quota available.

Man some fast fingers out there

I wish that were the case.....I have a 1/2 acre lot, with a house value no where close to the number you stated yours is....and my property tax is just over $8k a year.....that’s Colorado these days.
Same property 15 years ago was not even $1k

Started waiting in line at 8:30am, got in about 9:03, 3 tags I was trying for were already gone.

Agreed on the system not letting anyone in to prevent crashing, at least that part worked.

Same. Whole muley list was gone by 9:09 as far as I could tell.

Next year I'm gonna either be there in person, or I'll have my son stand there for me like he did 2 years ago. That actually worked pretty well.
