CO 2nd draw tags still in leftover...what gives?

How does it work if you wanted to essentially swap tags. I have a tag I drew and want to switch to a different unit? Can you buy the leftover first and then return the other tag or do you need to return your tag first?
You need to turn in your tag and hope for the best.

If it’s one that isn’t gonna sell out and you go to a CPW office you can do a swap and it saves a fee, but that’s only useful for OTC or tags with tons of leftovers/low demand.

Not exactly true. Depends on the tag. If you look at the draw recap for the secondary - there’s a hell of a bunch of adults (me included) that draw every year.

It is true. The preference is to youth. It doesn't mean you can't get a tag. If there is one tag and a kid applies, and you also apply, the kid gets the tag.

If you're drawing in the secondary every year, you're likely drawing $hit tags.

Getting an EM011O1R tag isn't exactly the shining star tag people have in mind when they are talking about drawing a decent tag in the secondary.

The "decent" tags are gobbled up by the youth. Period.

Yeah, we all understand how the draw works. Adults odds in the secondary are not “zero to terrible” for tags in general.

For what many consider “good” tags, I agree with you.
