Got my deer tag but was too slow to grab any of the 11 elk hunt codes I had picked out. Literally clicked proceed at 9 on the dot and sat in the queue forever. What a shitshow.

Same here. I was looking at the updated list on a second computer and it was updated 1 min prior with 7 tags and by the time I confirmed it said no tags.

Total of 6min of lag from login to submit on tag. I was in the system with three different clocks at 9am and both tags (3 available in each) were gone. I had my phone on autodial the entire time as a backup and never got in.

If the tags are this popular and they want to make money, why don’t they just auction them?

Definitely some local priority being here in Colorado. Logged in late at 9:03, wait page said next in line, and checked out by 9:10 via a cell phone. Maybe 30 seconds a page at checkout.

Edit: Picked up a local to me front range deer tag. Not super high demand.

Funny. I was at the tag choice page at 9:01. 5 tags for my zone we’re available before the 9 o clock start time. All were gone already. How is that possible. Colorado says sale is not complete until payment is accepted That’s not physically possible by the rules they claim. Time for a change. Clearly not a legit system.

Doubt I’ll be able to get anything I want, but to have my bear tag and a cow elk tag would be pretty sweet.
