Cliff Grays Podcast with Aaron Davidson

You guys need to pay attention like this guy, Our equipment bypasses the effort and knowledge required to setup a long range system. It's not trivial, I think 80 percent of the custom rifle builders out there don't even know how to do this thoroughly. This allows ours customers to focus on the aspects of equipment management, shot execution, and the most important-wind reading. We started our long range university training customers in 2007 and every lr hunting class on the market today is an offshoot or direct copy of our curriculum. Your class envy is showing, let it go.
Zero class envy here. That’s a truly arrogant (and ignorant) statement. You have zero idea who I am or what I do. I could buy a dozen of your rifles tomorrow without batting an eye. Yet I never will, because of lame statements like these.

“Our equipment bypasses the effort and knowledge required to setup a long range system.”

There you have it. You just said it yourself. Barf!

What's more important, mounting a scope or learning how to read wind? Reloading, or running a ballistic program? I think there's two levels of communication going in this thread. And two camps of critism. The first level of comm will understand the logic path I laid out with those two questions. The second level should consider that there is a complete other convo happening in this thread that they are not able to process....

Regarding the critism, there is truly a class element in play. Note that I didn't suggest it was a financial element.

The other is the worship of the different skills a person may have been able to develop, building insight into some aspect of long range system setup. This manifests as a superiority complex and a personal identity dependant on that superiority. Since day one TWENTY years ago, Gunwerks and myself have threatened that identity and I've heard all of the reactions. I'm a member of the club (maybe president?) that knows, but I betrayed the club by creating a bypass for GW customers.

...That should make an entertaining Sunday morning!

You're FOS and don't even know it. Todd Hodnett has been training snipers for over 20 years. He is recognized as one of the most respected instructors in the field.

What does this even mean? How does it relate to this conversation? How does Hodnett relate to this conversation? Do you have some inner dialog flowing in your head that you might share as to how your statement applies to this conversation?

“You’re FOS because some other guy has been in the biz for 20 years”

Pretty self explanatory if you bother to read what I quoted and posted. It isn't that hard.

I'd draw you slow learners a diagram if I could......

As I said, the half man is FOS.......Hodnett's been training the masses for over 20 years. If you can do math, what I posted is now not a mystery. Nobody said anything about a Tremor reticle except you clowns.

Hodnett started out teaching LR hunting classes???? New news to me. I thought he was more sniper orientated and tactical.
