Does anyone know if there's a way to replace that glass window with a sheet of titanium or something?

I'd want to reduce the weight further and prevent the possibility of broken glass.

It is available from Amazon now. Delivery date isn't the best but $129 delivered isn't that bad.

Anyone order off of Amazon and take delivery yet?
Looks like the same model as original post but maybe better service from Amazon if there are delivery or product issues, etc.

I will update when I get it. I think delivery date is Dec. But with an amazon gift card it only cost me $29. So I am not worried about the wait.

i have one of these on the way from Amazon.. we'll see if it actually shows up.. seemed like the delivery date was bouncing around a lot, and at one point even switched to unavailable.

Mine came in from Amazon 2 weeks early. Wednesday hopefully I will get a chance to set it up in my cimarron and maybe get a burn in it. The bag that it comes with will be getting changed out.

You were able to purchase it on Amazon? What did it cost you on there?

I decided to order one to test and mine also came in a few weeks early.

Initial impressions are it’s a nice stove and no complaints. I already own a Liteoutdoors stove and a buddy owns a Seek Outside large stove.

My scale reads 3 lbs for the stove and dampener (everything but the stove pipe). Other than putting it together I haven’t messed with it, but I can say it assembles easily and seems well built. I’d say the panels appear a little thicker than other stoves I’ve been around if memory serves.

I think it’s pretty much a carbon copy of the GoHunt stove, but with a glass door.

There are lighter options. The Liteoutdoors is probably one of the lightest, but I’m not a huge fan of assembling it, and the legs on the LO are basically useless. Too short and makes the stove so low to the ground you end up smoking out the tent as twigs and moss burn under the stove body.

No complaints and I’m happy with the Soomloom. For the price, it’s tough to beat. I’ll be packing it next spring for bear season and see how it fares. It’s not the largest stove, but about perfect for a Redcliff and/or smaller.

The little screws that secure the stove pipe dampener to the body may be an issue so I’ll buy a couple spares at the hardware store.

The Soomloom carrying case is acceptable in my opinion, but I’m curious what case you would replace it with?

I forgot to mention, but I find this one way easier to assemble over both the LO and my buddies SeekOutside. I love the SO tipis, but didn’t like how the panels came together on their stoves. This one has rolled slots and it’s super simple to put together, and the legs stay centered to the stove body holes. Easy.

Pros and cons to all of them, but I’ll run this one next year and see how it fares.

Mine showed up early as well, haven't put it together yet but happy how it's broken down in it's bag.
Gonna use it for sxs camping and save beating up my kifaru stove.

I switched my OG bag out to the three ridges gear bag. It’s two bags, one for the pipe and one for the body. It works great. I also switch out the bottom feet for their feet as well. The OG feet have a solid bottom to where the three ridge feet allow you to screw the leg through to help level and anchor it into the ground. I’ve used it a couple times of some over night trips. I don’t have any experience with other brands but this stove is super easy to put together and get going. It kept my sawtooth warm enough that I was comfortable.

I am looking for extra pipe rings if anyone knows where to get them. And damper screws, lost one and pick up some screws from the depot that will work. But the head is a little smaller.

For pipe rings, I make my own. A simple thin steel cable crimped to the proper diameter is pretty easy to make. This stove came with spot welded solid rings, but I have a bunch of steel cable rings I plan to use instead. Not a huge weight saving, but a little lighter using cable and easy to make as many as you want for cheap.
