Cheap Titanium Stove

I'm going to have to try one of these for that price. I think I'll try and remove the glass in the door and replace it with a piece of titanium. Lite outdoors sells titanium foil and the 2.5" stack rings. I can probably just get a couple feet of that titanium foil to slide in and extend the pipe also if I need too.

Used mine last year during elk season. It works as expected, no complaints. Wish the fire box was bigger for a longer burn time but it's to be expected. It's pretty surprising the amount of heat they generate in a tent, 30 outside and 80 inside the tent. Pair it with a tipi and you are gtg.

I gave it a good 2 hr burn to break it in, then packed it around for 5 days on a spring bear hunt but we never needed it since the weather was nice and warm.

How did your bear hunt go? Where did you go? Im wanting to go in Idaho and try for a wolf too really bad. Part of why I am considering getting this stove!

That's my plan think I'm gonna buy an Argali Absaroka. But holding out to see if they're gonna run any father's day sales

I’m in eastern Oregon and hunt wilderness areas with my teenage daughter and her best friend. Saw 7 bears, but only 1 big cinnamon boar that was in a position we could actually get to. Unfortunately he was on the move and we couldn’t close the gap fast enough. The country is big and steep, so you’ll see bears, but getting to them while they’re constantly on the move is the hard part.

Spring bear is one of my favorites. Bonus was we packed in on memorial weekend and never saw a soul. Had a great time and the kids did great. They love it. Just need to get them to be quieter and not laugh so loud all day while dad glasses for bears.

My daughter got a 4 yr old sow on the first day last year. If you haven’t glassed many bears, learning the difference between a small one and a medium can be tough. The big guys are pretty easy to tell.
