Certainly worth a gander.....but don't delete it just because you don't believe it.

Your belief process is intriguing.
Thanks, I'll take that as a compliment. I'm extremely well educated, however I don't trust any human. I wish I could say I was wise. I am a little bit. I am a hater of BS and phoniness! I strive for the truth knowing I will never find it. I believe in individual freedom and that the best government is less. I shrink at first when I know I'm wrong, because I'm proud, but I come around I never lie to myself, almost never. That's my biggest sin to myself.

You do realize. They have changed the way they measure mountains and therefore it doesn’t mean Everest has grown. Just may have read the ruler wrong. I know that many will not believe. Believing even a small portion puts you in the chance you may believe in God. So let’s look at it this way. I believe in God from faith and convictions. I have spent most of the last 7 years studying apologetics or questionable events from the Bible. I will guess either are a atheist or agnostic. Just a guess along with others on here. I can look at things and know that it’s only by God. You look at things and don’t want to believe it could be God. But ask your self this. 1. Are you looking at the evidence with an open mind. 2. Have you took the time to realistically with a real chance given considered the evidence from the other side. 3. A good apologetics student looks at both sides and studies the opposite side too to understand what is being debated and from what angle.
If you say it louder or more convincingly it doesn’t make it right just louder. By simple twisting a truth we can all get the answer we want or in some cases need. Have you considered the evidence through a nonobjective world view. If not then this is a discussion with no finish line in sight.
So I will take this as a new line of questions I need to address to add to a rebuttal but there is no point in the argument if a open dialect can not be achieved. I will leave it as this.
I believe in God and have repented of my sins then and every day because I fall short everyday but if I die I will go to heaven if I’m right. If I’m right then non believers will go to hell. If your right then I’ve still not lost. If I’m right you have missed out and will have to admit confess the truth.

Deeds have nothing to do with getting into heaven. Living out your faith is but not one deed will help you get in. It’s by the blood of Jesus Christ and what you did with it once you received it. Commanded to spread the gospel and love one another. Which could mean having to chose a side and defend your faith.
That's Old Testament. We can disagree, many do. I believe it's my belief that Jesus died on the cross, so we don't have to do that Old Testament stuff. You can not prove me wrong, nor me you, because it's belief.

Call them what you will but the line of inquiry is as valid as anything else in this thread. Just because you can’t explain them with religion does not mean they aren’t valid points.
I have nothing to do with any religion. Just like processed food. Man created it and it will kill you dead. Jesus Christ and Godmade venison is another conversation and much better for you.

Most things in life and in this world are binary. Male-female, light - darkness, water- land, heaven or hell. You either believe in God & his word or you don't. God gave every person free will to choose one or the other. The day will come when every person will live with their decision for eternity.

To answer the question of "what does it matter?"...as it describes in the bible It's the difference of your soul being in heaven with God vs being tormented in the lake of fire for all of eternity.

It's the most important decision any human being can make.

Wait. You don’t process your venison? Do you eat it all real fast before it spoils or do you have an evolved digestive system?

Might be advisable to take that up with the author.

That’s how much god loves you. Whoreship or burn!

Seems reasonable.

You should question him. See what he says.
“For your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath. You wasted life, why wouldn't you waste death?”

Modest Mouse

Gnight folks. It’s been funny

Ok… one last question for you Christians.

Which immigrants would Jesus turn away?

If you can’t follow his teachings (even the inconvenient ones) I think you better reevaluate.

If you welcome all I can definitely respect your convictions even if I don’t believe everything you believe.

I welcome all with guidelines just as they are put on me.

Jesus said “Take up your cross and follow me”

What guidelines would Jesus have condoned? I really like the story of Jesus even if it is fiction. He was a pretty radical character.
