Camping near Gillette WY

Going on an antelope hunt in unit 23 and just looking to see if anyone has camping recommendations?

Are you allowed to camp on the 1 mile x 1 mile state ground or the BLM ground in that unit (assuming there is public access to it)?

Any help appreciated!

You can camp on BLM, not State

Yep, camp on blm, not state. Be sure to look for the county roads map for where you’re hunting. There are named roads that show up on onX that are not accessible or don’t go as far as they look, legally.
