Well I average over a 100 days in the field a year so probably well over a 1000 from 2010-2021 this between multiple species rifle seasons, archery seasons, upland bird, etc in some pretty gnarly country. Then wear the gear for fishing, scouting, shooting etc year around. I guess I’ve had better luck then you. To each their own. And I don’t baby my gear. I’ve tried it all. Nothing let forever if you use it hard and often.
Your key point is "to each their own". Completely agree. I really find it hard to believe that you've "tried it all" though if you landed on Kuiu as your go to. Here's a hint... "Hunting" brand clothing is largely, garbage for guys who use it as much as you claim to.

Kuiu beef jerky and snack sticks coming to a bass pro kiosk near you . Buy the value pack and get 10 bucks off your kuiu tee shit and womens v neck pink Verde tank tops.

Ok, obviously you are the guy who likes to start arguments and try to pick at people. Sure, maybe should have said tried a lot. Not all. But Come on, why do you or anyone have to be like that. Keyboard tuff you are. I have a mixed bag of gear. I also wear a lot of hiking mountaineering style of gear. I never said a solely wear kuiu but have a good amount and for the most part love those pieces. It’s a big part of what I wear. If you don’t like it. That is fine. Also, if you don’t believe I spend 100+ days in the field a year. That’s fine. Honestly it’s probably more and really isn’t that crazy. When you live fairly remote on the western side of the country and can literally hunt most species we can in our state and lower 48 from my property it’s not that hard. I also have a job that allows me to travel and spend a good amount hunting throughout the west. It’s just what we do as a family. Have a good one.

I messaged them to see if they’d even respond. The answer was there’s absolutely no truth to the rumor.

I've tried it all, near full kits, and I have Kuiu now. Firstlite lasted two seasons and Sitka had horrible fit for me. Kuiu does both well for me. To each their own. Fact of the matter is its all largely overrated anyway.

But yes, Bass Pro will ruin Kuiu without a doubt and it would be a shame a brand built specifically to get away from Big Box retailers would sell to them.

I trashed Kuiu earlier, but youre right, it lasts longer than first lite. That stuff is even worse.

Just a reminder on bashing products verse giving an opinion on your personal use. Many of these companies are sponsors of Rokslide; by all means a constructive review or opinion based on your personal experience is great, bashing a product because you like something else is. It needed.

Thanks

I simply stated my opinion based on actual field use of their products from multiple heavy users. You then quoted me disagreeing…

So now you’re coming in saying that I like to start arguments, when you quoted me and started the argument in the first place. Strange.

Glad you found some clothing that works for you! Have a good one.

I like Kuiu. Been many times. Good hunting and fishing on that island. Sitka is much too crowded.

It will all start fitting and wearing like garbage. I’m a stocker so I’m good for a decade. Maybe stone glacier would move up to the front, their stuff is better than the others in my opinion
