Bugle Report 2014

Bulls in SD are bugling after dark and before daylight. But haven't heard anything during the daylight hours.

Haven't heard a bugle yet. Had two bulls at full draw the past two days just no shot. Face paint, bandana, and moccasins creeping through the timber like a ninja haha had this little 6 point at 30 yards yesterday

It was in the 80s the last two days and full moon. It's currently snowing now, I think it might get them talkin a little bit. Hope your prepared for all types of weather!

I am always in MT. Was snowed, hailed, rained and in a lighting storm in 2 days last year lol.

NW corner of MT we had bulls bugling well into mid morning on opening day.

I haven't heard any bugles yet either on the divide.

Quiet where I was in the central mountains of colorado. Watched two little bulls have a sparring match but they were quiet. Heard a string of three bugles one morning but couldn't tell if it was a bull taking his cows up the meadow or another hunter making his way in.

Made a mad dash into the mountains after work. Spotted a bull out in the open while hiking in. Had himresponding and coming in but i believe he winded us.

No bugles last weekend on the front range. Snow up to 15 inches in the mountains over the next few days so maybe get some activity up in the Bob this weekend.

Tminus 16 hours and I'm MT bound. This cold front, and coming off full moon, next week could be exciting!!

It's snowing in Bozeman, not sticking, but you know that means the mountains are getting it. Was out last weekend, and Tuesday. Didn't hear a bugle over the weekend, and heard a couple Tuesday night after the sun went down. I hope as Whisky said, that this fires them up a little bit. I think the full moon had a damper on the hunting.

In steamboat area today and worked a couple bulls. Not bugling a ton but had them going off and in from about 2 this afternoon. stayed in Estes park CO last night and bulls bugles all night. Saw a few trying to breed cows and a couple decent ones fighting.

Well it dropped 2 inches in town tonight and as much as 15 in the mountains. I hope they are singing tomorrow!!!

Just got back from working in Gillette last night and was surprised how much snow came down in Sheridan and Buffalo especially in the Mountains. Saw 3 trucks with bulls in the back so some WYO boys are getting it done.

Heading out Thursday after work for 10 days and can't stand waiting anymore!

Well it dropped 2 inches in town tonight and as much as 15 in the mountains. I hope they are singing tomorrow!!!

I heard a few bulls this morning, I was expecting more. The last couple days up here were not fun at all!

Still haven't heard a bugle but dam were there alot of camps set up today. Didn't even see a local plate all out of staters! Setting up a spike camp tonight, got the next 10 days off, bring on the rut!
