Need to replace my boots. Currently wearing the Idaho, like the boots, have held up fairly well but starting to come apart. 90% of use is upland bird hunting. Everything from prairie to cattail sloughs. Bird hunting is hard on boots, worried about the durability with the Briksdale, Colorado seems like a much tougher boot to me.

A stress point issue with the Idshos I don't like or I would just get another pair of those

I can’t speak to the durability of either as I returned my colorados for Briksdals and haven’t beat those up enough yet to really know. My problem with the colorados was that they were much too short for how stiff they were. Rather than the boot flexing a bit at the ankle while walking forward like boots usually do they ended up rubbing against my ankles.

For me the Colorados were great for steep mountain hunting. They were terrible on flat/semi-flat ground though because of how stiff they were. I switched to the Briksdale Mtns and like them much better. I’ve had them for 2023 and 2024 seasons and they are holding up really well.

Take a look at Nevada and Guides. I have both the Wyoming and Colorado, but my Nevada's fit like a glove and seem to be more durable.

I looked at the Nevada. I m worried the glued on rand won't hold up in heavy cover. Think that would be an issue?

Don't worry...rand holds up well (just don't dry your boots near a fire) and if there are any issues, Crispi has been good with free repairs if reasonable use.
