Blaser R8 in a Rokstok survey

Would you commit to buying a Rokstok for your Blaser R8 Professional?

I have my 8x57 r8 barrel at the smith getting re-chambered for 8x68s.

Going to use my 10,3x68 RWS on stags and wild boar this year, maybe fallow.

Using my 30-06 barrel on chamois and ibex.

Thanks Tom for posting that.

I need to buy a few Akila adaptors to bring home with me. Not worth dealing with getting barrels while Ima in Germany, but the adaptors would be awesome to have for America.

THLR,

You sent me to Skytterlinken, they owe me $XXX as they have not shipped my Sauer SSG 3000 magazines and no one with any common sense answers the phone.

I even sent registered mail all the documents and emails and nothing happened.

Guess they hate Americans in Germany. Not your fault, I have had great customer service from Norway before.

Things are progressing nicely. R8 in wood Rokstok is doable. Even if you don't want the Rokstok, Mike should be able to do a wood stock for R8 Professional.

I've asked for Rokstok "Lite" fore end to offset slightly larger grip area (required to accommodate the chassis bolt).

UM should be working the two barrels for Akila Bear 8 I sent them soon...

I assume you can remove bolt carrier on that?

Would make more sense to have the short railed carrier than the long rail carrier all of mine in old, long rails
Ja, mine is long railed. I couldn't verify EuroOptic (or anyone else) could get the short railed version.

I mentioned to Form...he was nervous about cutting the rails shorter. Removable cheek piece is an easy answer
