Bismuth and Tungsten Price Availability

Dumb question. But bismuth shot prices and yield. If it’s $184 for 7 pounds o shot. And 16 ounces in a pound. Is that literally only 16 one ounce shells reloaded per pound?

So there are 112 ounces in 7 pounds. And that $184 would only yield 112 shotshells made…and that’s before buying hulls, wads and primers ??
Correct. That's the math in 2025. 2-3x more than last year.

Used up all but the last 5 of my BOSS bismuth shells this past weekend. I was conscious of of my remaining supply so I took some old Remington steel shot I had laying around for a few years back.

A buddy used the coppper BOSS shell and said he didn’t have any complaints with downing ducks. I’ll probably buy a box of copper to try out for any other hunts this season or early next season.

I went to longbeard 20 ga for turkeys and have a stockpile of tungsten and bismuth for geese.
Inside of 40, those longbeard 6s hammer the toms
