GuNR got some "young" feathers in his mouth earlier this month. Bring on the pheasants and waterfowl.

Got out this AM to chase some pheasant with the pup. She did pretty well, pointing one but missing the second which flushed from under my feet. Fortunately I shot well. Plenty to work on but we both had a good time! These are planted birds, BTW, so hens are fair game.

Boomer. 6 months, training going pretty good so far, looking forward to getting out later in the year..

I snuck out for a few hours Thursday morning before heading to the office. Trekker held a perfect point on this rooster. He's definitely starting to put it together.
