Best all round shotgun barrel length and choke

Love my Benelli's...I use 26" barrel choked IC or LM for upland, dove, quail, pheasant and the like, waterfowl my preference is for a 26" or 28" barrel choked according to what I am doing. Sporting clays depends on the course. Don't really shoot trap or skeet anymore. BTW my dad had a Remington Model 11 16 ga with 28" IC and F barrels. I believe my younger brother still has it in his safe. Great gun!

There is nothing I couldn't do with a 26" barrel choked modified in 20 or 12 (or 28 tbh) gauge.

I shoot a 24" benelli ultralight in 20g more than all my other shotguns combined, and don't notice a difference in accuracy/"swingability"...but it sure does pop onto the shoulder in a hurry and get on target quick.

I only have one shotgun but the 28” barrel and mod choke seem to be working well so far.
