Yep, and it was done non-stop from 2017 - 2020, so I think we're all sick of it and why you see it with who sits behind the Resolute Desk. Hard to sit still, though, when you see an incoming admin purposefully reverse everything done to prior admin did out of spite. The problem is, the office of the POTUS is being used as a pawn for a political tug-of-war and not for its intended purpose.

There were 37,000 leases up of bid/auction for development and it was reduced to 9,000. That's what this administration did early on, part of that 100 day thing whatever it was.

Doesn't mean 28,000 wells were plugged and abandoned. A lease may hold 10,000 wells, depending on the acreage in that lease.

Yeah, it's definitely the status quo for an incoming administration to attempt to undo everything the previous one did. But as long as they keep the working masses fighting amongst each other, it will continue. The two party system is destroying our country. Every four years we get two choices, neither of which give a damn about regular people. But as long as we're at each other's throats, the machine churns on, working as intended.

The group of folks outraged at Biden for their gas prices were likely completely silent when Trump's trade war with China cost farmers billions of dollars and jeopardized their well-being. It's like everyone has to filter information through their political lens before deciding whether to be outraged or supportive. I mean consider the fact that you have people in here quoting Fox News as their source and expecting to be taken seriously. Fox literally won a lawsuit by stating that "no reasonable viewer would take them seriously", yet here we are, with people citing them as if they were scripture. Before y'all get triggered, CNN is no different. People need to start getting their news from the Associated Press or Reuters. They simply report what happened and when. Most of the big networks get their information from the AP or Reuters, and then bastardize it through their political agenda for broadcast/publication. When you cite Fox, CNN, etc. these days, you instantly lose credibility.

Also, just because I'm not blaming Biden for my toast being burnt, it doesn't mean I love the guy. Do I support him as my sitting president? Yes. Do I feel he's better than the previous president? Well, yes, but that's just my personal opinion. Is he a good leader? Not really. Is he helping the average American? No. Will he actively work to dismantle our democracy? Also no. Most people are immediately outraged and frothing at the mouth if you say anything remotely bad about Trump. I can criticize Biden without issue.

Also, I'm sick of our high offices being a palliative care unit. If you're so old that you need a diaper, can't read a teleprompter without glitching out, or are held together with glue (Pelosi), then you shouldn't be in office. These people are so old and so far removed from what average Americans struggle with it's ridiculous. We need younger, educated people in office that aren't running their agenda on outrage politics. If people can't even accept criticism of their president (past or present), we're a long ways off.

Anyhow, I don't think any of this oil stuff will have much of an impact on hunters. Things may be cooled off by September, or we could all be motes of ash. Who knows.

Pretty sure everyone cringed whenever Trump spoke off-cuff, but many of the benefits were hard to ignore on certain things.

What got him elected is the rhetoric of his campaign rang with millions of voters ears in 2016. Biden got in from the opposite effect, his campaign didn't ring with voters ears, it just was a different tone that political cues told them to focus on.

So far, I'm not better off. Our democracy wasn't in jeopardy under Trump, just like it isn't under biden. There are two other branches to keep that from happening...

The baiting law has been interpreted extremely weird and basically makes it impossible to enforce.

Wonder if at the end of the day the camera "ban" will be much the same. It may prove to be difficult to actually enforce, really, especially if people kept quite about what they're seeing...

Oh, wait. That's a stutter. When my grandfather was 80 he developed a "stutter" too.

Just FYI, Biden has struggled with his stutter since early childhood. I thinks it's commendable he didn't let it stop him. Aside from that, yeah... he's definitely old as hell, and is quite obviously dealing with mental decline. We need younger leaders.

Hahahaha.. You Biden apologists are funny! Lets see, prior to Jan 2021 our country was actually exporting oil, Biden took office immediately signing what 60 executive orders one of those shutting down the pipeline, and putting 10K people out of work. The price of everything started going up! Now instead of realizing his policies are killing the American economy he would rather turn to Iran, Venezuela, and the Saudia's to rescue him from his own bad decisions. What is it costing the world to get Iran potentially on board - Nukes ?

The war Russia started is contributing to the high fuel prices but you are kidding yourself if you don't think the Biden administration is against this country and the average American !

shut down the foreign countries ability to supply us with oil as a way to "hurt" their economy.................

isnt that what the current group of leaders did to us here in our own country? to hurt us?

this all seems like a big scam.

Agreed...he has also been lying since at least '87 when he had to drop out of the presidential race for plagiarism and lying about his graduation rank....Obama's quote about him is probably the best description."Dont underestimate Joe's ability to F things up"...but because orange man bad here we are.
Only in America!

Might want to make those trips in a Prius. As a side note, I have one I’m looking to sell, and I think it’ll make several trips around the world on one tank of gas.
