Better sunshade or glade reduction suggestion?

I'm a stand hunter in SC. Most of the stands on my hunting club are making use of existing clearing, atv trails, and utilities right-of-ways so we have to make use of the shooting lanes we have. We have a few stands where I'm getting completely washed out either right after or before sunrise/set and it's cutting my hunts short because I get so much glare I can't even see to take a shot. I run a sunshade on a SWFA 10x42 and it helps some, but the sun angle is too extreme. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions other than just abandoning those stands?

Try this. It will wrap over your scope. We get a lot more time hunting Coues glassing into the rising and setting sun.

That might also work as a scope cover. I've got a few scratches from going in and out through the woods.
