Like the title says. I absolutely hate mummy bags. I currently have a SG Chilkoot 0 degree bag.

I absolutely hate it. I'm the type of sleeper that has to have my legs stretched. The mummy bags just aren't for me.

I'd rather pack a little extra weight in a bigger bag than deal with this SG anymore.

Anyone else deal with this, and found a replacement back packing bag that is a little larger at the leg section?

Thanks for the response, I'll check those two out! I'd like to stick with a bag for now, I tried the quilt and wasn't a big fan.

Im a side sleeper that needs room. I dont need a super warm bag so I went with the 20 degree terralite from western mountaineering. Only a few nights in it, but very happy so far. I think it will keep me warmer than the rating states

With a properly rated pad they are still one of the only true comfort rated bags we’ve tested.

Meaning you will be comfortable down to the stated temps with their bags not just “survive” a night in it.
