Best damn burger joint.

Nosworthy's, coeur d'alene, for burgers.

Hoot Owl in Ponderay for breakfast after all night pack out. Chicken Fried steak is the best.

Clarkfork Pantry has deli that's the best around the north side of the lake.

The Thai food truck in Priest River is awesome in early fall. Pad Thai is great, and she's actually Thai.
These are standouts in North Idaho.
Ditto on the Hoot Owl and their Chicken Fried Steak

The Local in Craig is pretty solid. Bison or beef, green chile, good buns...I'd go back. Wings were also good.

I'm more of a steak guy myself....But back in the the Bear Claw in McAllister MT had a pretty good burger. I see the place burnt down again. Hadn't been there since 2008 or 9ish but after pulling high camp from the mountains it was a good place to stop for a burger.

Top 5 worst Buger joints in New Mexico

1. Buckhorn. This is the best of the worst. Always edible, completely overpriced fries suck. world famous. San Antonio, NM.

2. Owl same as the Buckhorn across the street, but the entire establishment is nasty. San Antonio, NM

3. Sparkys, Hatch NM. Cool looking place, food is sub-par, People that work there suck. Hatch, NM. This is the most famous New Mexico green Chile cheese burger joint.

4. Dusty Boots, Cloudcroft, NM just no. This is Texas making a New Mexico product. It sucks.

5. Blakes Lottaburger, all over NewMexico. These are just ok.

6. Whattaburgers in New Mexico. They all seem to have the NM Green Chili cheese. They do it decently. Best Fast Food chain burger in new Mexico.

Honorable mentions:
1. Circle K gas stations between Socorro and El Paso. Most of these have a grill, and the burgers are awesome, and cheap and have Green Chili

2. La Posta, Mesilla, NM. This is the best New Mexico flavored Mexican Restaurant in New Mexico. Green Chili, Blue corn, this place is legit. Most outfits in Mesilla are good.

The Corral Bar just south of Big Sky, MT used to have excellent burgers
but I haven't been there for many years. Can't swear by it now but
it's always a treat just to sit upright at a real table and have someone
else make the food after several days in the mountains

Buckhorn and owl used to be good but it’s many many years since I’ve been there. Haven’t heard of the others but I don’t travel south much. Blake’s isn’t as good as it used to be but their sausage breakfast burrito with green chile is killer. Whataburger reminds me of how Blake’s burgers used to be. 505 burgers is pretty good with a gc mayo that’s good. La Posta is fantastic!

I think it’s called the Shake Shack in Pagosa Springs, CO. One in Cortez, CO that my employees keep telling me about but Incant remember that one either. 🤦🏼‍♂️

If you are in Farmington, NM then Los Hermanitos is my favorite Mexican place.

Chappy’s in Westcliffe Colorado. ( if it is still open). Great burgers and steaks.
