While flying through Seattle, I stopped and had an Iron Horse Quilter's Irish Death Ale. Maybe it's because I can only find it when flying through SeaTac but it's fantastic and at the top of my list currently. If anyone in WA wants to send me some, I'd be much obliged.

I'm not a beer fan but Blacktooth Brewery's Saddle Bronc would probably be my favorite.

Has anyone ever heard of Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale? My brother-in-law, down in the Pittsburgh area, just told me about it and says that it's now his favorite. It's pretty expensive though, something like $16 for a 4 pack.

Founders KBS. Thats actually cheap for a 4 pack, i think its 20+ normally. It's extremely hard to get. The 2017 release isnt until April IIRC.

Nice!! Love Pliny. It does live up to the hype.

Although I'd take Consecration over it any day. Way harder to find an awesome Wild than it is an awesome DIPA.

Laramie WY, The library's Steamboat Oats and Cream Stout. Very hard to beat on a cold snowy winter evening.

In the last month I've bought about 20 bottles of beer. The cheapest was 9.95.....per bottle. That was for goose island bourbon County(I scored 5 bottles and this year was really limited). Above that was some of the Firestone walker xx(which I tried at a tasting last week), some of their velvet merkin, some abyss, some abyss from scotch barrels, some of it from brandy, and some other beers. Yeah. This is the time of year for some good beers. I cringe at how much I've spent. But I won't be buying those again until another year. Limited supplies.

I'm a fan of Porters and Stouts.

My favorite is Pinup Porter from Southern Oregon Brewing (S.O.B).

Another good option that I can never get enough of is the Vanilla Bourbon Cream Ale from Sasquatch Brewing Company.

I've tried a bunch of trendy ones with weird names and if I had to choose one beer it would be Yuengling Lager in a bottle.

I've never had it. But everyone from PA seems to love it. Kind of like Shiner bock and Texas.

St Bernardus ABT12 60th anniversary edition. I lost the bottle in the back of a cabinet for six years. It was the best beer far and away I've ever had. It was incredibly complex and changed significantly as it warmed. Very sad I'll never have another. If I had known when I bought the four cases what I do now I'd have put them all back and only drank one or two a year after aging them for five years.

Craft beers are good and all and I drink them regularly, but it's hard to beat Guinness (winter) and High Life (summer). I don't do IPAs

Spotted Cow by New Glarus Brewing. Only available for sale in Wisconsin!

I had a friend from Wisconsin come over for a trail race and he brought me a six pack of Spotted Cow (of course he drank half of it :)) and it was really good
