Berger Bullets bought by Nammo?

On Accurate Shooter the word was the merger was aimed at (no pun intended) at production of the most accurate factory ammo available.
Acquisition for product betterment seems rare these days; hope they don't discontinue the 170 grain .277 EOLs. :/

WHY would anyone make "assumptions" on what will or won't happen when the letter came out less than 2 weeks ago ?? Hell, maybe nammo is really owned by Hornady and "berger" will go away ...........

Here is the only info we can go off that isn't rumor "The addition of Berger Bullets to Nammo unifies four brands that all share one common goal, which is producing the ultimate in precision performance. The four brands will continue to operate as unique brands servicing precision rifle shooters, while working together to enhance their collective offerings and services".


And the 4 brands are......"Berger Bullets joins an existing family of premium Nammo commercial ammunition components and ammunitions brands – SK, Vihtavuori and Lapua."


Eric Stecker, President of Berger Bullets said, “Supported by Nammo, Berger will continue to produce the highest quality rifle bullets in the world. Written words fail to describe how excited we are about the future of Berger Bullets and the growth of the other premium Nammo brands within the US market.”

So based on the other companies I would say we see no change but maybe more resources to expand.

I'm hoping they come out with a high BC 180-185gr .277, so I'm hoping for more resources.
