Bergara Crest carbon vs Weatherby 307 alpine ct

Considering a 7prc in one of these models, what’s everyone’s thoughts/opinions on these? Good or bad??

I have one Bergara and it would not group. Sent it back to Bergara. They sent it back to me with a target ,38 group. Took it to the range and used the same ammo Bergara used and it thew rounds all over the target. Called Bergara and they said I could send it back, but they would not do anything since they said it would shoot.

Bergara's Guarente is worthless so now I have a great canoe paddle!

I have owned a number of Weatherby's, and all shot well with no problems.

This is just my experience. Take it for what it is worth.

I narrowed my choices down to the same two and decided on Bergara. I felt the action was smoother and liked the grip better. I'm still waiting for it to arrive.

Had a Bergara that wouldn’t shoot anything well. Tried about 8 different loads.

I’d go Weatherby.

Any updates I have also considered both these rifles. Also considered a 280AI

My issue is, I haven’t actually had the Weatherby in hand, as nobody near me has one on shelf. I have handled the Bergara and seen one shoot in 6.5prc. Shot very well right out of the box.

I have handled both, but fired neither. Both have a narrower palm swell than I am used to in a vertical grip. I felt the balance was better on the Weatherby. I have Bergaras and Weatherbys, all steel barrels but have never been disappointed by either. That said I personally would choose the Weatherby, I find their QC to be a higher standard than most.
