Any interference with the bolt knob and the throw lever when scope is maxed out?

The scope is maxed in that pic but the knob does not hit it. However, Trijicon power rings are notoriously large so after that pic, I ground a sweep into the bolt to make sure it would always clear. Didn’t cerakote after but hit ii with gun blue and then painted matte black.

Add to cart for $1767. This is where I got mine… no tax, no credit card fee, low shipping. They can take a few days to ship through their distributor but patience pays 👍

I was in Scheels Saturday afternoon looking at them when I saw your post. I pulled that up, added one to cart to get my total and Scheels priced matched it. So I appreciate you posting the info! I was fully prepared to order if they didn't want to price match.

thanks @Nicaburns for all your helpful advice. I've been researching the perfect mountain rifle in preparation for an elk hunt, and you tipped the scales to the Alpine CT for me. Ordered it a couple weeks ago and picked it up last weekend in 280 AI.

These were the first 4 shots after bore sighting with 140 grain nosler BT (found them at a significant discount so bought a few boxes for break-in). Needless to say, I was quite pleased that after two adjustments I had the holes touching. I'll be ordering a variety of ammo to test at my next range session, but for $40 a box I might keep using these nosler BTs for target shooting + whitetails in Michigan and then adjust to a sturdier, heavier bullet for the elk hunt

One bummer was that the threads for the muzzle break were a little messed up from the factory. My gunsmith happens to be a weatherby dealer so it's a free warranty repair, but meant I was shooting unsuppressed / without the brake this time. Just disappointing and not something you'd expect out of a gun in this price range. Everything else on the gun was perfect and it just felt great in general

I shot a few more groups and all were well under 1 MOA. I'll report back after I get the brake on there and have a few more rounds down the barrel, but so far I'm really happy

Mine had cerakote residue on the male and female muzzle/brake threads too… I called Weatherby and they gave me the go ahead to just hit them with a bronze brush and it went right on 👍
