I work for a large excavating & grading company in TN, over 600 employees and not once has the vaccine been mentioned. They did email us about the new quarantine guidelines and that was it.
Are you a union shop? None of my buddies in unions have had anyone say a word about the vax from their companies regardless of size.I work for a large excavating & grading company in TN, over 600 employees and not once has the vaccine been mentioned. No, we are non union. Privately owned by the same family for 60 years. They encouraged those who wanted to be vaxxed to do it but at no point did they say by X date we want everyone vaxxed. I believe they wanted to let the court system play itself out and go from there. In actuality as well, as most trade workers know, OSHA would've had an incredibly difficult time enforcing the rule as they don't have the man power. We hardly ever see OSHA on a job site unless someone has called and complained or the terrible tragedy that someone has lost their life. Are you a union shop? Oh, interesting! Not only a RS’er that defends the failing state of govt policies, but also a book critic who also attacks the messenger of said book.Because that's an empty power fantasy based on a poorly written novel by a woman who died penniless and relying on unemployment.
But hey maybe I'm wrong. You can start any time. Nobody's stopping you.
I think you can. Its an extremely slippery slope though. And it also depends on your definition of "socialism".I don't know her views, but can anyone really ever be "over the top" on anti-socialist views?
Manufacturing / advanced materialsWhat type of business?
The ruling is unfortunate for those in the medical field (myself). Our right to choose has been taken away for the "good of the people" we care for. The inference is that since we care for the sick and injured we have somehow voluntarily sacrificed our own well being in order to do so. Currently we are being forced to boost or test weekly. Although I can see the testing going away now and forced to boost. I also see no end to continuing boosters as this virus continues to evolve. So wrong on so many levels.

She was stupid, she hated Socialism. It was weird she had those views after surviving Stalin.Because that's an empty power fantasy based on a poorly written novel by a woman who died penniless and relying on unemployment.

Congratulations!
Social security and medicare are welfare programs, and are both things she publicly spoke out against. It's like putting a thin blue line flag on your truck and then talking about how you're worried about corrupt government overreach. Not true.
She was 77 at the time of her death and had a history of cancer. Was she supposed to still be working? No. That is retirement age.
She was collecting SS and was on Medicare (all of which she paid into.) but not unemployment or welfare.
And she wasn't penniless either.
NY Times: Ayn Rand Left 500k to 1 million estate
That is just a common smear to discredit her.
She may have been a little over the top on her anti-socialist views, but living in and experiencing Soviet Russia will do that to a person.
1984 was about totalitarianism, not socialism. You'd be shocked I presume to learn the author was himself a socialist who cut his teeth shooting Spanish fascists. She was stupid, she hated Socialism. It was weird she had those views after surviving Stalin.
I loved that book. I think every high school kid should have to read it along with the Gulag Archipelago and 1984. They they could truly appreciate Socialism in all it's glory.
Probably didn't have a booster At least (some) people are starting to question this whole thing.
If you pay into SS, that is your money.Social security and medicare are welfare programs, and are both things she publicly spoke out against. It's like putting a thin blue line flag on your truck and then talking about how you're worried about corrupt government overreach.

Atlas Shrugged is just painfully bad. Not "50+ page rambling speech mid book" bad but still pretty close. The Fountainhead broke me though.
But as with the toilet licking to promote a strong immune system, you're all welcome to move to the jungle or go on welfare and own the libs. By all means, act out those fantasies, let me know how it goes. But don't spend a lifetime complaining that you have to pay taxes and then pretend that social security and Medicare aren't welfare.
wow sad you never bothered to do actual research on the entire back grounds of these writers . Typical anti history, anti science low IQ communist cult worshipper. Welfare is obviously something you receive having never put into the system . Why are these anti hunting, anti gun communist trolls allowed on here now? This troll has contributed nothing of value to the hunting community on hereSocial security and medicare are welfare programs, and are both things she publicly spoke out against.
