Need some help as a newbie nonres hunting Arizona - I'll be hunting in January for archery javelina and want to make sure I'm in complete compliance with the law

I received the carcass/transportation/shipping permit and the big game hunt permit-tag. When I go to licenses on the azfgd website, my license comes up with the number, valid dates and everything but it doesn't give me a way to print out an actual license - is there a way to do that? Or is the "big game hunt permit-tag" the license?

Also, do I need a non-resident OHV decal for driving on Coronado National Forest, BLM, and State Trust trails with a pickup? Based on the "unimproved terrain, and weigh 2,500 pounds or less" requirement I would say no but confirmation would give me peace of mind

Anything else I should watch out for?

Will call a game warden as well before I go

Any help is much appreciated!

OHV is only needed if leaving actual roads (including forest roads, etc). Even then, OHV trails have to be designated. So it isn’t a free for all with the OHV tag anyways. In summary, you don’t need an OHV tag for a normal vehicle.

Your hunting license is separate from the permit tag. You can screen shot your license info on your phone, or I think there is a method on their website to reprint your license. For whatever reason, when you purchase the license there is a limited opportunity to print or download the license. The downloaded one is intended to be saved or screen shot on your phone.

Good luck on your hunt. What unit?
