Atlas coolers- Anyone get a shipping notice yet?

Turns out it was a crappy deal. Paid $220 for what should have been a 115 qt cooler.

We don't know the exact total but best guess is over $30k worth of coolers. My order totaled over $400 for 3 coolers and a couple tumblers. We were told early on that we exceeded $10k in orders so I'm sure it went up from there.

25% off and 1000's were probably ordered. Maybe you can get a deal with Canyon Coolers or something of similar value.

Refunds are processed the same day on our end.

First, a threat of lawsuit is not going to get anywhere as its really not that much money and second the whole deal was is we were never even offering refunds on rokslide because of the way it was set up. The deal was coolers were paid for, we put in order with our manufacturer and coolers were delivered. Date has been pushed back....it happens.

Feel free to do what is necessary but I can tell you with the threats and BS that have come from the Rokslide group over a delayed order is a bit excessive and we really have lost any interest in fixing the order issues. So it stands as if you have an order in for cooler (any customer) the new date is December 18th.

here is the whole reponse.

the dates on the website are going to be where updates can be found.We understand that they continued to be pushed out, but we honestly should not have ever agreed to do the group buy due to our business model of wholesale. The Rokslide group buy was a mistake on our end due to the issues that arose with it. Honestly I'd recommend to all that ordered to cancel as we are discontinuing all coolers and strictly going wholesale drinkware lines once all orders are delivered. We do not have capacity to be able to handle our wholesale accounts and direct to consumer. We also do not have staff to answer 200 emails a day.
We know this is a inconvenience for everyone as it has been for us but as I've relayed to people before, we aren't trying to keep anyone's money.We deliver what we have when we have it, Our backlog with walmart is getting our current inventory that we had originally allocated for Rokslide and I as a business owner have to make the decision that is best for my company.
Updates will be given via website and only through website until all backorders (not just Rokslide) have been fulfilled.
We do apologize as we know this is an inconvenience but are doing all we can to get orders out as quickly as possible. Avg turnaround time for manufacturing coolers FYI is almost 45 days, it takes quite some time to play catchup.

So Which is it? Cancel your order or let us keep your money until Wal-mart stops buying all of our inventory?

Didn't something like this happen with RTIC last year around the same timeframe? Seems like coolers competing with Yeti and Orion have horrible "luck".

So no coolers yet! I logged in just to check to see if anyone had one and how they performed.
I was in early but moved and when I tried to change my address the order was cancelled and my money was refunded.
Their website is still up and seems to be taking retail orders???
Hell you can't find an Ozark Trail tumbler or cooler anywhere at Walmart. Maybe I need to get into this upscale cooler and tumbler business. Take orders with no inventory, deliver whenever.
I hope you get refunds soon.

I noticed Walmart doesn't even list the coolers for sale anymore.

So I called the folks at thebestcooler.com and they said that they have been waiting for over 3 months for there shipment of 300 coolers to show up from atlas. They have presold 84 coolers and are getting ****ed around just like us.

I asked them if they have ever received and sold an atlas and the salesman said yes, but said that the company has been extremely difficult to deal with and takes forever to produce the goods.... Shocker????????

Its curious that walmart no longer shows these coolers.... I figured thebestcooler.com got our order but that is not the case. I am starting to wonder if any coolers ever showed up because everyone keeps getting ****ed around....

Since this fell apart I've had my eye on the Canyon coolers. If someone reputable like 1shotgear could put a Canyon cooler group buy together I'd be in. I don't like Yeti pricing and features as much as the Canyon coolers. Plus, the Canyons seem to come up second only to Orion in all the Rokslide Cooler showdowns.
