Atlas cooler list of committed buyers! Let's get to $10,000

As you guys know we need to hit a total of $10,000 to qualify for the discount pricing on the Atlas cooler group buy. Please copy and paste with you name added to the running list with what amount you are spending. Every now and then I will update with a running total. Ok. I will start.

I'll help this out a little. I made a Google document where people can enter their info and it will give a running total. Please let me know if you cannot access or edit the sheet. I wasn't sure about the shipping though I assume it's excluded from the $10K minimum. I'll edit the extra column(s) out of the sheet if it isn't necessary.

While I understand your concern, GotDraw's own post includes pricing information. I wouldn't suggest that anyone goes on Facebook or some Amazon review and posts the prices they got their stuff for but just posting a dollar amount without details about what that dollar amount is getting isn't too harmful I don't think.

I don't see this thread as the same thing. We are trying to track and make sure we get enough committed buyers to make the group buy happen. We aren't trying to "tout our purchase". I think that refers to bragging about what a smoking deal we got, which could upset retailers. This is a Rokslide group buy, we aren't bragging about it, we just want to see it happen and/or make sure we are covered if it doesn't look like we are going to get there. I'm not going to post it up on facebook or anything.

I think posting that you're in, encouraging people to join is no problem, but potentially not posting the amount you spent. Plus, it's not going to be accurate anyways as there's no way you'll capture everyone. Some people just don't like to advertise that...

That is true but it's a good glimpse. Better than nothing or a long thread of people just listing what they are getting. You don't have to put your name or "advertise" it by any means at all.

I'm bored at work so I also added a counter to show the rough number of orders still needed based on the average order amount. With 3 orders listed, we still need just shy of 60 orders to make the minimum.

are you using the actual charge that will take place or the amount you see at the checkout. As that will be doubled.

I've seen lots of folks saying they are buying a lot of coolers in the other threads but it isn't reflecting here so this only works with participation.

Uh, the pricing is public knowledge in this very forum. This is just a way to see how close we are getting to the 10k goal. Not touting the pricing in any way....

Your going to see the rings mostly towards the end of the window (6/30). I found a partner to go in with me to hit the $375 for the free shipping, BUT i'm going to dump the ring onto my charge card and I will not be reimbursed until I get his cooler and we meet up. Can't really see the point in charging the whole load today and not seeing the merchandise for a month or better when I can wait three more weeks. Plus I'm still contemplating some of the mugs and maybe one of the little coolers?
