That was just the pistol roster, and then only micro stamping, and a few other things were ruled not legal.
Not exactly, the judge found numerous aspects of the UHA violated the second amendment. The state has appealed all but the micro-stamping aspect.

Respectfully, what that response was meant to reflect is that our system is completely broken and won't be changed until money is removed from politics. I have a moral obligation to stand up for my beliefs and practice what I preach, which is why I could never make it past the local level. That being said, I will continue to do what I can without compromising.
For what it's worth, I understand, and I'm right there with you. My response was tongue-in-cheek, and I'm not actually disappointed in you for having integrity or for not attempting to become President.

Everyone is stuck in AR mode....but the Ruger 22/45 rimfire pistol you plink with your kids....if it has a threaded barrel...is now an Assault Weapon. Your Mossberg 500 Turkey edition, with the complete camo dip...if it has a pistol grip stock...is now an Assault Weapon. Your Benelli or Beretta gas gun with the extended magazine tube you practice for 3 Gun with...is an Assault Weapon.
Good point on the Ruger 22/45 and Benelli/Beretta. The Mossberg 500 would not be included in the ban though:

(vii) A semiautomatic shotgun that has any of the following:
(A) A folding or telescoping stock;
(B) A grip that is independent or detached from the stock that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon. The addition of a fin attaching the grip to the stock does not exempt t grip if it otherwise resembles the grip found on a pistol;

(C) A thumbhole stock;
(D) A forward pistol, vertical, angled, or other grip designed for use by the nonfiring hand to improve control;

(E) A fixed magazine in excess of seven rounds; or
(F) A revolving cylinder shotgun.

(c) "Assault weapon" does not include antique firearms, any firearm that has been made permanently inoperable, or any firearm that is manually operated by bolt, pump, lever, or slide action.

Also, interesting update, the House rejected the Senate's military exemption amendment. So this bill is back in the Senate.

Disgusted with state I live in. For those who don’t live here don’t really even know the half of it. Along w gun issues there are 100,s of other bills coming down the pike to take more rights away. It’s sickening

This is literally why the bud light thing bothers me so much. The most I've ever seen anybody ever do anything was over the bud light bs while we sit here watching gun rights be stripped from us. Pathetic.

it is OK, they just want too keep the kids safe...

I read today a piece on why people are being killed in driveways....it was because of guns not lawlessness/home invasions/carjacking. There may not be any hope for the future, well you can always hope but it is not looking promising.

And meanwhile, it was reported over the weekend that Fentynal kills on average 2 people a day in King county. And our lawmakers just voted to keep drug use/possession basically decriminalized. think about that. If you want to live in a really messed up state, move to WA.

You are correct, the snowball effect has got rolling and there be no stopping it. I fear for the future of this once great country.

Something else to think over. Somewhere around 100,000 people a year die from drug overdose. Yet there is a push to legalize most of them.

OK, just to be clear up front my political viewpoint is oriented to the right of Rush Limbaugh, Clarence Thomas & Ted Nugent & I agree with the gist of your statement. I personally think the 2A couldn't be any clearer & there shouldn't be any restrictions on "shall not be infringed". I think the pistol brace thing is complete horse crap and will be overruled eventually at the SC or federal judge just like the bump stock ban was. But here we are. How was CA able to get a 10 round magazine limit? Their citizens just accepted it, right? We all know the commies would confiscate every gun in a heartbeat if they could get away with it but they know they can't. I guess society has accepted that a silencer is not restricting their right to keep & bear arms.
Oregon is nect CA,OR, WA all the same now. It sucks to be from OR

I wish them luck in Lincoln, grant, Okanagan, POand ferry county.....they're going to need it. whole counties of people who just want to be left alone and sheriffs that supports its constituents is bad news for outsiders looking to take away civil rights.

Pretty much all county’s east of the Cascades…

Went to Jaydolf's desk today but he didn't sign it yet. Maybe waiting for the other two loads of garbage to sign at once? Get those lowers tomorrow morning! Wish I owned a gun store in Post Falls or CDA come next week.
