I just ordered a Fierce Rival in 280ai to replace my kimber mountain ascent in 300wm. The only downside to this upgrade seems to be ammo. I want to start looking for the right ammo for my new rifle and don't want to wait 3 months for the build to start looking. They did tell me that they will work the gun up for the 1/2 moa guarantee. They couldn't tell me for sure what ammo it would be because every gun can be different but he did say "usually its the nosler 160gr accubonds". My question is anyone with this rifle and cartridge combo find different ammo worked for them? It could take months to find ammo and I want to make sure I can hunt with it next year... sad state of affairs with never ending ammo shortage.

Nosler was the only ammo I was able to find and it shot very well.

Thanks for the replies and good point; I just looked at gunbroker to sell my kimber and ammo and looks like i wont have any issues offloading those. I would imagine 280ai ammo will be even easier to sell. I am very excited to use the 280ai in fierce. After a foray into magnum calibers I am looking forward to less recoil but still have enough energy to kill an elk out to 500yds.

I have been looking at Fierce rifles. They told you 3 months to complete the rifle?
Yep 3-4 months they said i ordered yesterday. They do have a lot of built rifles already in their inventory though on the website. I thought it was awesome that they set the load and scope set up to confirm its on out to 1000 yards

My fierce in 7mm mag was clover leafing with factory nosler 160 accubonds. More temperamental with other ammo but well under 1/2" with that ammo.
