I’m admittedly slow, I don’t follow your logic or the point your making here? No record of a country our size overthrowing their Govt - which is the point. Those at the top, pulling strings, are likely in a good spot. It’s 99.9% of the rest that are not - which is why it could get ugly if things go in a direction that large numbers don’t want.

If you are to have an uprising that people would notice it would need to include the exact people many complain about for rioting and such. At this point it just the opposite. At any rate, many Americans survive without electricity, enough food , and basic needs all the time. So I believe many would be just fine, not much different than their normal day.

I was talking to my grandma. My grandpa got drafted and had to go to war. He was gone. My grandma was in her own and she was saying how during war time they had to ration gas and other things. She said it was kind of weird when there was no gas for your vehicle to drive. But it wasn’t hard she said “just had to tighten the belt and work harder.” Lol

I feel like if people now days experienced stuff like that people would really loose their mind.

Hey, I get it; this topic amounts to a punchline for some, and they are in for a very rule awakening.
Cuba, Venezuela, Bosnia, Macedonia...lots of countries never believed that the S would HTF.
People that think that others are gonna play nice going forward are sorely misguided.
The old saying is that 'stupid should hurt.' And it will!

I am all for preparedness and, living in earthquake country, we are prepared for a natural disaster. But this is different. To be honest I feel badly for people whose world view has the US on the precipice of falling into anarchy at every turn. That seems like a horrible existence.

Glad you can see things so crystal clear. I also wouldn’t consider the election completely over - so the jury on that is out.

Not saying I have a crystal ball, just saying when I go outside and look up I still see the sky - contrary to the frequent predictions of a number on this site.

On the election, the fat lady started singing at full volume a few weeks back. Some people have just jammed their fingers so far into their ears they can't hear her.

That it can't happen here is to ignore history. No nation has escaped demise. The U.S will come to an end at some point. The goal is to not let happen on our watch.

I don't know a single person who fits that description. In fact, those that I know are just the opposite. Come what may they are prepared with food, water, meds, 2nd A stuff, and they sleep like babies.
Ask yourself, how often do we even reads threads like this? I don't subscibe to "Soldier of Fortune" so it's all an eye opener for me. Hence the thread.


Hopefully some here will can the politics stuff, we all have opinions but we know where it leads with these threads.
