Has anyone mentioned that the majority of the supreme court believes in the Constitution? After Darth Vadar Ginsberg was replaced, I sighed a big relief. If court packing happens I'll get nervous.

That was the thought post Heller. But since then the court has been virtually silent on gun issues. I wouldn't count on ACB to make any significant impact.

They better be taking all of their rights away if that's the case. They can't pick and choose which rights they allow citizens to have and which rights they can take away........rights are a package deal, and the Constitution prohibits government just arbitrarily taking away citizen's rights. If the criminals have served their time and paid the penalties for their actions, then all rights should be restored to them. If they can't be trusted out in society with those rights (all of them) then they shouldn't be released from prison to start with.

LOL. There are many examples but the best one is a misdemeanor charge of domestic assault prohibits the offender from owning firearms. They will just double down on that.

And they should be prohibited from owning firearms.......while they are serving their sentence. Once their debt to society is paid in full........ALL rights should be restored. If they can't be trusted with ALL rights, then they shouldn't be released in the first place. Just because you made a mistake shouldn't allow the government to take away a single right for the rest of their lives. And then the left's hypocrisy comes into play when they want to restore voting rights to all prisoners, yet continue to deny them their 2A rights. That's the problem......the picking and choosing of specific rights for however it benefits their party........instead of how it benefits the nation, while keeping and preserving the Constitution.
