AR confiscation

Are any of you concerned about having your AR, AK and such taken from you or being made illegal to own ? I had one and never shot it ( bought when Obama was pres) so I sold it. Now with this clown, I feel I should have one again, just in case SHTF. The one I want is quite expensive, and I would hate like hell to have it taken from me, or becoming that we can no longer own them.

At the end of the day thats a decision that you will have to make for yourself. In my opinion its nobodies business what i own or do not own regardless of if its legal or not. I honestly feel no real need for an AR. I just figure when SHTF i'll put up gun free zone signs to deter any people with ill intentions. Obviously they will read and abide by the signs so they won't have to worry if i do or don't own something illegal...

I also didn’t think it would be possible for the government to tell hundreds of businesses they can’t open.

Or telling an entire population they have to wear a face diaper and that people would actually do it.

It’s really anyone’s guess now with the dems winning GA. Harris wants to go door to door taking assault rifles but I don’t see that happening. What I do see happening is a buy back program. You get to keep your assault rifle but will pay taxes on it. That in itself will get rid of most of the assault rifles in the country without the government actually taking them from you. I know I know an AR isn’t an assault rifle it stand for armalite rifle, just ask Joe.

I don’t think confiscation is very probable from a logistics stand point but agree that I have never felt more like it’s possible than i do right now. Holy shit has the last six months but an eye opening experience.

If you have read the Biden gun control plan on his website you will understand how clueless these folks are about firearms and firearm laws in general...Its already taking 200+ days to get a stamp for a can..add another 15 million ARs and Mags, not sure how you get stamp for a mag. The 2024 election will be over before you get your "required" AR stamp. I would also imagine if they do pass some nonsense those reps will get voted out in mid terms just like last time with the AR ban.

I guess they could always boost staff and and cut corners with the approvals to shorten cycle time. Which other than the money grab seems kind of counter productive if the goal is safety.

BTW how is the AR registration working out in NY?
