So your telling me if you shoot an elk once you get it home and have the meat processed you can't do whatever you want with the antlers? Was just wondering. It's blatantly illegal to saw antler off heads in NM. I know other states are different that's why I was curious if there was something to it I didnt know about. It has to be sold with the cap still and a receipt.
I imagine threads don't get locked for discussion until guys like you come into the convo. You can just say "Oregon allows it" and move on.
License I meant just a normal hunting license like we already have. To bring more funds to the states conservation. Not a new one.
For a deadhead you find in the woods (in New Mexico). It's weird how a lot of the state rules are written. Tag law is different than the deadhead receipt, but doesn't specify much into it. NM states it has to have the cap attached with the receipt to be sold. I think once you own it you should be able to do whatever with it, but it seems to be another grey area at least from NM.So your telling me if you shoot an elk once you get it home and have the meat processed you can't do whatever you want with the antlers?
Not accurate. You cannot sell a deadhead, but can sell antlers and parts of antlers. In OK you are not not allowed to sell anything related to wild game.
