Another diy carbon fibre stock, Round 2!

Not meant as a knock on you, more of on how people try and make others feel better when something like this happens. I have been following since the beginning of your posts and fully expect you to be very disappointed right now. Having all of your work break this far in the game is frustrating. I hope to follow along as you build another. I think you did a great job.
Oh no haha sorry I was just joking around. I appreciate you following along! And your kind words!

We can rebuild it, we have the technology lol. I was very surprised at how much abuse/prying it took before it finally gave up

Was able to realign the two parts of the stock with the action and bottom metal bolted down while held in my make shift vise. Used an old vap TKO 4mm arrow, cut it to length and embedded two pieces on each side. Embedded with free form air mixed with cf chop.

Next, rebuilt/contoured the action area to fit the carbon tube again. Used the carbon tube wrapped in Tuck tape sprayed with release agent and pressed it into the uncured free form air.

Added 3 more layers to the barrel channel that end under neath the first inch or so of the carbon tube in the action area, and two layers down the back of the grip that end about an inch under the rear of the action tube. Bonded the tube in with west systems resin where the tube over laps the carbon on the ends and more free form air with cf chop in the middle area so the tube is fully supported/bonded to the stock. Cut out the recoil lug area.

Were moving forward again!
