Activists in Colorado plan not going well for them.

I would argue they are pretty pleased with themselves. The wolves are here, they are breeding and more are coming. Are they upset individuals are being killed, absolutely. The damage is done and there is no reversing course.

Polis is even cementing the strategy by packing the commission with pro wolf individuals. They are so radical that they (Glenn Parton) are proposing using imminent domain to take ranchers land to protect wolves... Scary Shit!

Correct. Glenn Parton is from a NGO “The Rewilding Institute”. But before you cast his comments aside as just the views of one individual from some extreme environmental org, I would point out that the Rewilding Institute has significant political influence in Colorado. Current Director of the State Land Board, Nicole Rosmarino, was a longtime board member at The Rewilding Institute. Current CPW Commissioners, Chairman Rich Reading, Jay Tutchton, Dr. John Emerick, and likely many others are all closely linked to the Rewilding Institute. Polis’ admin has had one single goal with the CPW Commission, shift the makeup of the commission toward Rewilding and coexistence, while diminishing any conservation or consumptive use, ie hunting and agriculture.

You guys are both right, this guy is not on the board but his opinions are probably 99% shared by much of the current board, the taking ranches to make “homes for wayward wolves” is absolutely insane. It’s funny how the progs used to want to seeminglyprotect the environment, but I think it’s that they hate the consumptive users more than they want to protect anything. They want to turn the west into a giant zoo and then lock everyone out of it. Absolutely unhinged

Thanks for the correction. I confused Glenn with some of the other terrible appointments recently made to "bring down the temperature and move away from any politicization of this board." - Gov Polis...

Not saying that guy isn’t insane, or that some on the commission aren’t sympathetic to that guys views. I just think accuracy is important, less the lunatics immediately try to paint us as a bunch of idiots who can’t get their facts straight and are just trying to whip us hysteria.

The fact is that hunters are a minority, and we need to win the minds of the average voter. The way to do that is being calm, fact / statistic based, and rational. The Dan Gates approach. These people we’re up against are absolute psychopaths, just give them enough time and they’ll sink their own ship. All that said, we also need to be balls to the wall in opposing every single one of these BS appointments Polis is making to CPW.
