I had to double check the specs on the nomad. Looks like configured similarly (flat end caps and DT) it’s ~1” longer and ~1oz heavier. The scythe has end caps for different calibers too, albeit from aftermarket companies.

I haven’t shot the nomad, but based on volume and previous editions I bet it is quieter (volume is still king). For a hunting can folks may appreciate a bit shorter/lighter (albeit marginal).
I'm not sure if you're looking at the original Nomad or the newer 3d printed Nomad XC's. Its 0.5" longer for DT vs DT. For an extra 0.5" if it outperformed the Magnus S, which according to TBAC's Summit it did, I'd take that additional performance any day..

Sycthe without the brake is 5.8”. DA site lists XC at 6.74”. Maybe confusion is comparing like configs. That’s about an inch.

Scythe won’t be beat for length and weight. For an extra inch I don’t doubt the XC will be a bit quieter. Likely close to the STi. Not impressed with magnus. TBAC is behind IMO.

It is marketed with the brake and it appears it is normal for people to run it. It's 6.16" as configured with the brake. Sure, take the brake off to make your point valid.

TBAC is quieter than the Scythe going off of SiCo's ads for a 300 WM. Nomad XC quieter than Magnus, Magnus quieter than Enticer, Scythe somewhere in between those two I imagine. Nomad XC is essentially TBAC Ultra 9 performance in a sub 7 inch can.
