If y'all are applying for maine snd otger states put name in for New Brunswick canada they have a NR draw prolly same or better odds then maine. Still have ti go through an outfitter but it's not a fortune. I think draw is over for this year but consider next year i apply every year not lucky yet lol. My Bear outfitter reminded me every year so it's pretty easy snd i think it's maybe 50$ Canadian

If you Google Maine moose lottery 2026 you can see Kyle Busch was selected. I did that after seeing the FB post. He sure was, hope he wasn't putting in every year like most of us natives.

Dad has one for September/zone 1. It’s the 3rd or 4th he’s drawn since the 80’s.

I’m 20 years deep with 0.

Draw deadline is long gone. (In April??) Years ago there was 100 non-res draw tags. No longer.
Only 50 non-res draw tags for something like 2,000 plus or minus non-res apps. The lucky few that draw can get a decent priced hunt.

Outfitters draw the other 50 non-res tags to sell via a hunt w/ guaranteed tag. Most are in $10k-20k range.

Outfitters are trying to get all the non-res tags issued to them (like in newfoundland) then they sell hunt with guaranteed tag.
