How many of you have tried the 75 day hard program by Andy Frisella? On day 29 so far.... I've enjoyed the crappy days so far of the two workouts a day, several of the outdoor workouts have been in the dark. Anyone else tried the program? results?

I did it a few years ago, I went I to it already in fairly good shape with a decent diet so I didn’t really have any breakthrough results. My buddy did it though and managed to stick to it strictly, he lost like 30lbs.

I’ve done it 3 times. Failed the first time on day 57 but succeeded the last 2. It’s become an annual thing, usually start the day after Christmas. Literally changed my life tho

How did you fail? Had a beer? Didn’t take the daily photo? Didn’t get the reading done? Or missed a workout?

I decided since I was doing so good with self discipline I should also quit my 20+ year Copenhagen habit on day 56. On day 57 I lost my temper and did a really stupid thing in front of my wife and kids. I then threw a hissy fit and went and sat on the couch till bedtime, skipped my 2nd workout and reading. Basically failed on purpose because I was throwing a temper tantrum. Not my finest moment.

If it makes you feel any better, a guy I know was really trying hard on the 75 hard, he was like day 68. His friends pressured him to go out to happy hour with them. He ended up drinking heavily, not doing his workout, then missing all the 75 hard stuff the next day because ehe was hungover.

He failed a week before the finish because he couldn't act like a grown ass man and tell his friends no.

Damn…well it isn’t called 75 hard for nothing.

Even doing 57 days the first time completely changed my life. I hadn’t went more than 2 weeks without drinking since I was 16. For years I was the guy who’d start working out hard then 2 weeks later I’d miss a day and give up on it

Fast forward to today and I haven’t quit drinking but it’s not uncommon to go a month without a beer and I’m getting solid workouts in 4 days a week minimum

Congrats. Nothing wrong with that at all. A sensible improvement that moves your life in the right direction THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY STICK TO is where it's at.
