6.5 Creedmoor/260 for Deer, Elk, and whatever else.....

6.5 Creedmoor, 143 eldx, 339 yards. He stumbled about 30 feet and then stood there wobbling around. I put an unnecessary second shot in his neck and he crumpled. No internal pictures, but they really didn’t look any different than all the other pictures we’ve seen on this thread. I hit mid shoulder at a downward angle. Bullet had heavily expanded by the time it was through the shoulder, and there was nothing but some fragments on the lower rib cage on the offside. Nothing made it through the off hide.

Average sized whitetail doe quartering to - 129 gr ABLR - impact around 2,700 fps - entrance 1.5" exit .5". Ran 60 yards with no easily visible blood trail and very little blood where she dropped.
