6.5 Creedmoor/260 for Deer, Elk, and whatever else.....

"I'm sorry - you're right - I did miscalculate those pressures, which can be very dangerous. Thank you for the feedback; I'll be sure to pay closer attention next time"
Look at the first post. It provides a safe load range. If you're reloading and don't already have a conservative approach to build pressure without starting at max loads, you shouldn't be reloading.

The key value is that for wildcat rounds without published reloading data it provides suggested loads within user specified settings similar to QL. This can save spending hours of time researching and then hundreds of dollars experimenting just to miss your goals. It also saves about $200 for the QL software that you have to order on CD.

I enjoy using AI for various things but at the end of the day, GRT is still *FREE* and encompasses most things I want to do. New powders and projectiles and cases can be added.

Just use GRT. It's a model, yes. All models are incorrect. Some are useful. I think GRT is useful, much moreso than AI.

I have GRT and used for a few years now. Directionally its often right, but even for some factory rounds it isn't close. I and others have had issues with 7-08 data as an example. For wildcats you're guessing at best and GRT isn't being updated anymore.

I tend to cross reference online Hodgdon, Nosler, Hornady, and GRT data for load data research. AI does all of this for you in seconds, the way it does for any research, and that is the beauty of it. That's why I call it creepy but cool.

Heck, I spent a good amount of time researching different golf clubs with it over the last few weeks and comparing to industry information and reviews. Plug in your height, wrist to floor measurement, estimated swing speed, and most consistent miss, and you can get a pretty reliable virtually fitting without leaving the house.
