~$300 Hiking/Hunting Boots

I'm looking for a solid pair of high-top, waterproof boots for hunting and general outdoor use. I’d prefer something in the 6-8 inch height range. My budget is around $300. My main focus is durability, and ofcourse, comfortability.

Are there any brands or specific models you’d recommend in this price range? And is the used route reccomended?
