I have a tikka being re-barreled. It was in a forest stock. Going to a proof barrel, and I don’t want to ruin the stock. Does anyone have a going rate that I could sell the stock for? I am contemplating a trade with a buddy for a Rokstock, we are friends and not trying to get a one up on each other.
What is a fair trade between the two? Forest stock + cash for the Rokstock, or the other way around? I may be open to sell it as well.

Wood stocks seem to sell on ebay for around $300-$350

A good price on a takeoff wooden OEM stock is anything under $200 on these classifieds. I got mine for $160.
I have looked, none have been the forest stock with the raised comb. I didn’t know if folks thought the price would be different. If it doesn’t change the price, then it doesn’t change the price.
