In 2020, I purchased a custom 28 Nosler that the buyer backed out of. It's a fantastic gun, bought at a discount, and I'm very happy with it. I've only fired 40 rounds through it so far due to various reasons, but now I'm planning to start developing a load for it.
When I bought it, I was informed that it was throated for "the 190 Berger" bullets, but I am 90% sure I was told that it has a 1:8.5 twist rate.
I live in the Rockies and usually shoot at elevations above 5,000 feet.
My question is: will 195-grain Berger stabilize? What about the 177 Hammers?
