Twist Rate for 300 Blackout Subs?

I'm thinking of putting together a 300 Blackout AR upper for 100% subsonic suppressed use with 190-220 grain projectiles.

I was fairly settled on a particular barrel that happens to have a 1/8 twist, but recently I saw another manufacturer is offering 1/5 twist barrels.

I'm wondering if the 1/5 would stabilize the subs better than the 1/8?

Who's got subsonic 300blk experience? What's your twist rate and how does it group?

Got the 9” 1:7 from BA and it stabilizes 220 Berry’s and 220 blues. Only shot with a red dot at 50yd for groups and it’s within 2-3”.

I've got a 7 inch barrel with a 1:7 I shoot the berrys 220s out of my banish 30 can. They shoot well. I have a red dot mounted on it so not super precise but probably 1 inch group at 50 yards

Yes a 1:5 will do better. I have used a 1:8 with 200g makers. Went to a 1:7 with 220g
