565 showed pressure early for me
570 is at 2990fps and r26 is at 3005fps (20" 25/6.5prc .180fb) 2 grains below pressure.

128eldx r26 -2g from pressure seated just above the shoulder/neck junction, same zero as previous load, 2997fps. I had a small seizure while jerking the trigger on the high left one, wind was blowing up my back.

Looks like they will shoot good enough for the animals i chase.

That will definitely work. Solid speed from a 20 inch tube also. Should be a hammer.

Your numbers may have me convinced to try N565 or N570 in my 25-284 with 22" barrel. I'm getting 2820 with the 134 with 54.5 of H1000. I have N565 on hand for my 6.5 WSM build, so it wouldn't take much to try a pressure ladder. Ive not seen RL26 available anywhere, ever.

I’d try 560 as well, that powder works great in my 6.5PRC with 140’s so might be similar in your 25-284 with 134’s.

From what I've seen in the 6.5prc case n565 will get maybe 25-50fps over h1000. N570 will likely get 100+fps over h1000 but a long cartridge oal and vibration will be needed. If you are looking for high velocity n560 will be fast also.

From what I've seen in the 6.5prc case n565 will get maybe 25-50fps over h1000. N570 will likely get 100+fps over h1000 but a long cartridge oal and vibration will be needed. If you are looking for high velocity n560 will be fast also.

COAL for my 134 load is 3.14 and that's what it was chambered for to be off the lands. 100fps would be more of an ego thing vs. a substantial ballistic advantage. However, I may play around with it and see what can be accomplished. Thanks!

Two deer so far this year with my 25 SAUM and Berger 135 LRHTs. Wife’s doe at 271 yards, lungs were jello on that one. Maybe made it 10 yards before going down. Then my buck at 550 yards, impact velocity right around 2500. Photos are of the buck.

Cow elk taken at 200 yards with Hammer 107HBC in 18” 1:7 25CM.
Bullet passed between ribs on entry and exit and never hit bone, but still exhibited nose fragmentation. Cow took two steps on impact and tipped over. MV was 2970fps and impact velocity was ~2675fps.
