The AR-15 is over rated. Everyone knows if you can only have one, a Tikka T3X 223 1:8 is basically the only way to fly….that is, if you don’t already have a Ruger American in 5.56!

Yeah, the splits on a bill drill with an AR are pretty unimpressive compared to a bolt gun

Thank goodness you joined today and made this post. After reading through over 13,000 posts I had personally failed to realize the entire point of this thread was to use an AR-15 and shoot as many rounds as you can to put an animal down. Thanks for clarifying that for the group.
