You tape you barrel so you always have tape with you. Break off a piece & cover the muzzle. Thats what its for

Shoot right through that bad boy. Zero issues and zero change in ballistics. Taped brake, taped suppressor, taped bare crown, all good to go.

Just shoot through it. The tape usually blows off before the bullet exits but if it doesnt it does not effect the bullet

I rarely hunt in the rain but one night I did a coyote tournament where it rained all night. Luckily had no issues with my Blaser r8 barrel. Their nitride is tough. Did get a little bolt rust though.

3M Super 88 or Super 33+ would probably be the best.
You can get variations of both that are advertised to adhere to 0*F.

I’ve used both into the teens with no issues. Stayed on until shot off.

If they can see a tiny piece of blue tape they should be dead.
Like goose hunting. Dudes worry about the smallest dumbest things flaring the birds like empty shotgun shells or other stuff. If they're that close to notice you should be blasting away.

Wanted to add an AAC 75 gr Sabre black tip data point at y’all. 18” 1:8 PA15

Deer was quartering pretty hard away, but I still made a poor shot. 70ish yards. Don’t hold it against me too bad

Entrance was a fuzz in front of the ham (made a mess when I pulled the hide down), made it to the offside and barely poked through the rib meat. 14” ish of penetration. I’m not sure what I hit, but she was DRT. I ‘think’ I got offside lung, but the guts and liver were untouched. Sweet meat and backstrap were fine, and I didn’t see spine damage. Sure made a mess though. Bullet retained about 47 gr

The whole ordeal lasted less than 7 seconds.

I'd assume so. Form had the same thing in a picture on another thread and said that's what it was for.

I saw that on his rifles but missed the post where he said what it was got. Finally it was like, "Duh!"
