I shot an entire season of Canadian PRS-style matches with an SWFA 10x. Placed on the podium or top 5 most matches. It may not be perfect for NRL-Hunter, but it's not a real hindrance, either, IME.

What are the benefits of the $100 membership outside of b in gun points race and being able to register earlier?

You also have to be a member to get invited to the grand slam if you qualify for it.What are the benefits of the $100 membership outside of being in points race and being able to register earlier?
Yeah - I missed out on the first match I tried to sign up for without the membership this year and so bought it for the subsequent ones.I bought the membership just so I could sign up for matches before they sell out. The only other benefit I can think of is being able to see scores and track past performance.
Glad you asked this, was coming on here to do the same. Have the Maven 1.2 I was thinking of using or the new S2H scope (3-18). Sounds like they'll do just fine based on the responses.Does anyone have any experience shooting a fixed 10x scope at an NRL hunter match? Would a fixed 10x be a major disadvantage to something like a 3-15 or 3-18?
The only scope I currently have that I trust to hold zero is a SWFA 10x and I’m trying to decide if it’s worth getting a SWFA 3-15 or Tenmile 3-18 for this.

What does it take to doe these? Just join and sign up before spots are full? Is it fkighted by skill level or gun class?
I would highly recommend reading through the rules to understand classes. But sign up for skills for a match that isn’t sold out and you’re good to shoot with whatever equipment you haveWhat does it take to doe these? Just join and sign up before spots are full? I wouldn't let that be the difference between going and not going....Does anyone have any experience shooting a fixed 10x scope at an NRL hunter match? Would a fixed 10x be a major disadvantage to something like a 3-15 or 3-18?

I shot a 3-9 and shot it on 9 the whole time. 10x would be a minimal disadvantage to you I thinkDoes anyone have any experience shooting a fixed 10x scope at an NRL hunter match? Would a fixed 10x be a major disadvantage to something like a 3-15 or 3-18?

I usually go, but won’t be able to make it. We have a pretty good group of guys that usually go to the matches though. There’s no divisions for the one day match, so you can pretty much do whatever you want from a getting the ranges/target locations from the ROAnybody signed up for the 1-day in Mtn Home on 3/7?
It will be my first one so I’m fully planning on limping my way in Skills.
There really is no disadvantage. I was a shooter first and a hunter second for my whole life. When NRL Hunter started I came from the gamer guns NRL/PRS world. I used the same scope in NRL Hunter. It pretty much gets set on 16x and never touched. I can run a 12# 6.5 creed with a brake with zero issues at 16x for most stuff.Does anyone have any experience shooting a fixed 10x scope at an NRL hunter match?
