2026 NRL Hunter Thread

I refreshed right when it opened, by the time I got my credit card info in 80ish people were already signed up. Hoping to sneak a match in before then

What are the benefits of the $100 membership outside of being in points race and being able to register earlier?

I bought the membership just so I could sign up for matches before they sell out. The only other benefit I can think of is being able to see scores and track past performance.

Yeah - I missed out on the first match I tried to sign up for without the membership this year and so bought it for the subsequent ones.

Does anyone have any experience shooting a fixed 10x scope at an NRL hunter match? Would a fixed 10x be a major disadvantage to something like a 3-15 or 3-18?

The only scope I currently have that I trust to hold zero is a SWFA 10x and I’m trying to decide if it’s worth getting a SWFA 3-15 or Tenmile 3-18 for this.
Glad you asked this, was coming on here to do the same. Have the Maven 1.2 I was thinking of using or the new S2H scope (3-18). Sounds like they'll do just fine based on the responses.

What does it take to doe these? Just join and sign up before spots are full? Is it fkighted by skill level or gun class?

Just register for a match in the “skills” division and take your gear and shoot. People will help you. You will learn a ton about how it works and if you want to shoot more matches or not

I would highly recommend reading through the rules to understand classes. But sign up for skills for a match that isn’t sold out and you’re good to shoot with whatever equipment you have

I think the Laramie match Saturday is going to be rough for finding targets if they get some fresh snow the night before! Might have to put my skills division status to work so I actually get to shoot.
